The challenge
To design a charging station that catered to the various function requirements defined by Nerve Systems and fulfilled an important need to be visible and recognizable from a distance.
The solution
A robust and elegant tower with a horizontal ‘hi visibility’ signage header utilizing folded metal construction. Illumination was used to capture attention in both daylight and at night-time as well as indicating when stations are available and ready for new customers.
User interaction elements are dark grey powder coated, while the structural ‘framing’ elements are in stainless steel.
EV charging station
MJID was also tasked with the Industrial Design of the new EV Charger Station. MJID worked very closely with the Nerve Systems consultant engineering team to ensure the solution was in line with manufacturing requirements. We will provide you with more updates on this project in the near future.
